welcome back. when the brazilian buttock augmentation is performed, the fat is harvested using liposuction. liposuction is a procedure where fat is sucked out of certain body areas using a hollow cannula and tubing and collected in a sterile canister for future use. in this procedure, first we inject a fluid called tumescent anesthesia. this anesthesia is used to minimize bleeding, control your pain after surgery, and minimize the amount of medications that are given to you when general anesthesia is performed. for the brazilian buttock augmentation, liposuction
is performed on the abdomen flanks, sides, and upper and lower back. these are the areas that can provide the large amount of fat necessary for the enhancement procedure. when liposuction is performed, attention needs to be paid to the amount of bleeding that occurs secondary to the surgery, since we want to remove the fat while minimizing the bleeding. not only does liposuction help remove the fat, but it is the goal to sculpt the body with this procedure. as we remove the fat from the waist the waist gets smaller creating a beautiful and sexy silhouette.
there is also a limit on the amount of fat that can be removed with this technique. for example, it is generally accepted that no more than five to six liters of fat should be removed in a given setting to minimize complications like bleeding fluid collection, among others. this is the beauty of the hourglass buttock augmentation or the brazilian buttock augmentation; not only do you get liposuction to sculpt your body, but at the same time, fat is injected into the buttocks to enhance the hourglass silhouette. it is a combination of liposculpture
to remove fat and also augmenting the areas of deficiency in this case the hips and the buttocks. in this video, we discussed fat harvesting. next week, we will discuss how the abdomen looks after a brazilian butt augmentation.
