before the procedure begins sophie is lightly sedated-. this means that she will remain awake during the procedure, but she will be calm and relaxed.we then inject local anaesthetic to numb the area that we are going to treat. this waythe patient should feel no pain during surgery â the fat is then liquefied with a vaser probe. the technology used is ultrasound energy, which targets the fat cells and causes them to break up so that they are easily removed.the surrounding nerves and blood vessels are not damaged making the recovery process mucheasier. the local anaesthetic has now taken affectand sophie does not feel much except mild
tugging. with the conscious sedation she isable to talk to us during the procedure. the liquefied fat is then extracted usinga tiny cannula with gentle suction process into a sterile system. â during this suctioningprocess the treatment areas are contoured for a natural result. the fat is cleaned and washed leaving us withsophie’s pure fat. the fat is then divided into separate syringes so that they are controllablewhen using it for the breast enlargement part of the procedure.we are still communicating with sophie to let her know every step of the procedure. the small incisions that were made to extractthe fat are closed with absorbable stitches,
so they don't need to be removed later on. we can now start preparing for the breastenlargement procedure, first by marking the shape of the breast to understand her naturalcontours and to mark where the fat needs to be injected for volume and shape. we are ready to inject the fat and as sophieis awake during the whole procedure she can literally see the size and shape of her breastschange in front of her eyes. this way, the patient is in control and feels comfortablewith the amount of fat they want injected in. the fat is then injected using a micro-droplettechnique into the various areas that were
marked out pre-operatively. as the breastswere first injected with local anaesthetic at the beginning of the procedure, they arecompletely numb and sophie won't feel much besides a little tugging. once the procedure is complete, it is an excitingmoment for the patient as they are able to see instantly the result achieved. sophiewill be cleaned up and a warm cup of tea will be waiting for her in the waiting room. sophie will go home after a little while atthe clinic and will rest. a support garment and supportive bra will be worm for healingpurposes. the result is naturally fuller and larger breasts.
we will keep monitoring sophie’s progressin the days following the procedures and again 6 months later.
