hi my name is meleny and i'm dr. tehrani's surgical nurse here at aristocrat plastic surgery today i'm going to go over your post op instructions after liposcution during the liposuction procedure, we add lots of numbing fluid to your incision sites so that you're more comfortable at home after your procedure
because of this, there will be drainage coming from the incision sites for 24 to 48 hours after your procedure and this will be about a fruit punch color not to worry, the reason for letting you know about the drainage is so that you do not panic and to be prepared at home
you do not want to sleep or sit on anything that's valuable to you we will also provide you with absorbent pads to place underneath you to avoid any issues with that as well after a procedure, you will be somewhat sore. so you want to avoid any strenuous activity you may move around
and go along with your business, but avoid anything that would be too uncomfortable for you you will have a garment place on you you are to keep this garment on until you are seen for your first post op visit not to worry, there will be an opening in the garment so that you can go to the restroom without having
to take off the garment please remember that it is important to contact us right away if you have any unusual bleeding any difficulty breathing a fever of 101 or higher or anything at all that is concerning you that you belive is a true emegency
