so now today, we're going to do ultrasonic liposuction of a patient that has had illegal silicone injections in the buttocks, causing her all these irregularities tenseness occasionally infections it's a really bad situation
in other words, this patient has agreed to have this shown to other patients so they understand this is a really bad thing to be doing. treatment for it is ultrasonic liposuction that removes the bad silicone from the buttock and then we're gonna replace that with healthy fat of her own she has developed a ridge
on her buttocks because of the migration of the silicone underneath her skin and also has what's called pih or post inflammatory hyperpigmentation because of chronic inflammation in this area it's actually, the skin itself has gotten darker with this method, we can remove not all of it, but the majority
of the silicone that's inside the buttock and then we're gonna replace the volume back with her own nice fat cells in terms of grafting and one of the nice things about the grafting is , fat cells that we put back in,
have stem cells within and those stem cells can actually help a lot of the skin irregularities and reverse some of that damage so that's one of the really nice things about fat grafting in this area. hopefully her buttocks will be a lot nicer smoother and shaplier
