liz here from lizdialto.com as always teachingyou how to get a tighter body on a tight schedule, and today i'm going to show you how to getrid of that fupa. if you don't know what fupa means, look it up in the dictionary becausei'm not telling you. basically, i'm going to give you 9 fat-burningexercises. so these are meant to boost your metabolism, get you hot, sweaty, muscles burning, and all that good stuff. i'm just going to show you the exercises, you are welcome toincorporate them into your own routine use them however you want. if you want take itand string them together as a circuit, go for it! but the first one is, a burpee withan overhead press. so most people think burpees are tough enough on their own, we're goingto add a little extra flavor, so grab your
dumbbells, you're going to do your burpeeswith a push-up, push-ups obviously are optional, and then press. i actually loved this becauseit's super, super efficient, so you've got your burpee with overhead press. next exercise, i don't even know how to callthis, i'm just going to show you what it is, and i have to give props to my girl amy cloverfrom strong inside out, when i did her 30x30 workout back in like may or june somethinglike that, i totally stole this exercise on her workout because i loved it so much. socome into a high-plank so you could get yourself into a good downward dog position for thoseof you who like yoga. you're going to lift up your right leg, and you're going to bringyou knee into your nose, right leg comes back
up, knees going to come up outside your elbow, right leg comes back up, knee goes to opposite elbow. so you'd do 5 of those, knee to nose, leg goes back up each time, knee to outside elbow, and then knee to opposite elbow. soyou'll do 5 of each, so you're basically doing 15 reps on one leg, then 5 of each on theother side, 15 reps on the other. that one is totally killer! that alone you could repeat3-5 times to get in a solid morning workout. exercise number 3 are side knee tucks. soregular knee tucks give me bonus exercise will just be going out and in like this, sowhen they're on the side, move my kettlebells so i don't break my toe, so that would bethe most unexciting blooper of all time. so for your knee tucks, you're going to startdown here, you're going to jump out to the
side, in to the center, out to the side, into the center, keep your abs in tight the whole time, shoulders over the hands, thoselatch and gauge to protect your core, you're not dropping your neck or anything like thatwhile doing that exercise. then, if you've been following me for a while you guys knowi love my plank variations, if you want some specific ideas for plank variations, you canclick here i have a specific video for that, but to my old time favorites because theywere so efficient. one of the things that help fat burning isengaging as many muscles as possible at one time. so get some dumbbells, and you coulddo a plank low. now if you're more of a beginner, go ahead and start down on your knees. whenyou get a little bit stronger, extend one
leg and then work your way up to be able todo it in a wide stance plank position, and then the core so you could your toes togetherthe more challenging it would be. the other plank variations i have for you which i turnthis way so you could get better view of the form, is a plank to a reverse fly. these youprobably won't be able to do with as heavy weight as the plank row, but these are fantastic! and then last but not least, just literallyadding a little twist to one of my favorite exercises which is the jump squat. you'regoing to jump squat, rotate, jump squat, rotate, and what i love about this is you really actuallyhave to jump up quite high to be able to execute the rotation, and you can't half pass punintended your squat jumps.
so the last two exercises, that was number7 are in fact not a physical exercise, but the practice of drinking 2-3 liters of watera day, make sure you're hydrated, and by all means, eat real food. people ask me all thetime, "liz what should i be a eating?", "how do i lose weight?", "how do i burn fat?".simple, eat real food. for more on that head over to lizdialto.com, i've plenty of recipesover there and nutrition advise, go ahead and click on the nutrition and healthy recipestabs on the blog, if you want more nutrition specific information. so those are your 9 fat-burning exercisesto get rid of that fupa. go ahead and like the video if you like it. if you have morequestions about that stuff, leave them in
